ABOUT THERAPY
Hello, I am Malaya Henry, a highly experienced and compassionate Person-Centred psychotherapist with a strong dedication to aiding individuals facing challenging life events. 

Creating a secure, trusting, and non-judgmental environment is at the core of my therapeutic approach, allowing clients to freely express their emotions and navigate difficult topics without fear of criticism. 
As a therapist, my role is to provide empathetic support and active listening, refraining from offering advice while empowering clients to process their experiences and determine their preferred course of action. 

My commitment to tailoring therapy to each client's pace and needs ensures a collaborative and effective therapeutic journey. 
In one-on-one therapy sessions, I establish a safe space to build a profound therapeutic client relationship, fostering feelings of empowerment and self-awareness, while recognising the inherent strengths and coping mechanisms within each individual. 
Embracing diversity is fundamental to my practice, as I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences. 

Having personally overcome traumatic life events, I deeply value the significance of a therapeutic relationship that instills a sense of safety and understanding.
